She is working on Fast Writes every morning for the entertainment beat, working with quick turnovers to deliver quick news.
Hoping for examples? I've learned from my time here to be succinct and cut the drama – something that's usually a huge part of my writing style – but nonetheless, deliver I shall.
1. Concert and event announcements
2. Transforming press releases into palatable reads designed for quick info digestion
3. Concert reviews (a personal favourite, dare I add)
4. Intensive coverage of BTS in the lead-up to and during their album release
A little too succinct (or rather, still too much drama)? Check them out below. Click on each headline to be redirected to the story.

Broke the news of 5SOS performing in Singapore, a very popular and highly-awaited show.
Did an Intern's POV of Star Awards 2026, where I was given full reign with the content direction. Filmed vlog-style with a VO, this video was so incredibly fun and performed well.

Attended the concert on my own (as a super fan) but pitched a review and wrote it for publishing for the next day.

On the day of BTS' album release, as one of the only Fast Writes writers on duty, I wrote 6 articles ranging from BTS to general lifestyle quick coverage. This was the third and was written and published 20mins after the update.

An album review that was written the day of the release, we ideated on angles and decided on this one. It took time and intensive research (lots of listening and re-listening) but it was one of the funnest pieces I've done!

A review of a historic show written on a Saturday, this was another interesting experience – watching a concert from home and writing about it. This was probably the crescendo and climax of all the BTS coverage before the happenings mellowed back down.

The week leading up to BTS's album release was busy with Fast Writes about constant updates and happenings almost every day.

An example of an internal press announcement from Mediacorp that I rewrote as a story.

Enhypen's Heeseung's exit was a shocking moment in K-pop and CNA Lifestyle lent timely coverage to the updates, especially finding local and regional signifance.

In this PR package, I received the Crocs x Lego Brick Clog, which I was assigned to cover as a video. Alongside it, my editor had the idea to pair it with a story which I worked on the same day. It was one of those enjoyable writes!
This video was my first time fully filming and editing a snackable for the CNA social media pages with my voice. It was fun to employ my personality in a way that writing didn't allow. It took a few drafts and back-and-forth to get it right but it was an incredible experience and it got great response from the audience and good feedback from the team.

In one of my artiste interviews, I spoke with Japanese sensation Avantgardey and translated the fun chat into a story.
In a shoot I directed and facilitated, we did a trendy dance challenge video and an interview.

In this pitched story, I compile and still actively update this listicle of all concerts in Singapore in 2026.

This was my first concert review for CNA Lifestyle. I wrote the review on the same day and it was pushed the next morning.

A piece of local cultural significance.

With the long weekend courtesy of Chinese New Year, the SG Culture Pass was a trending topic, so I wrote a quick listicle on ways to use the pass during the period.

My first phone interview with CNA Lifestyle, I interviewed the artistes and wrote the story for publishing the next day.

In the second week of my internship, I was entrusted with a doorstop interview with Nick Jonas and ZhuZhu for Singapore Art Week. It was calm and a very special first experience. I then wrote a story about it the same night and it was pushed the following day.

This was a breaking story about the closure of The Providore.

Another really hot topic in South Korea and K-pop, I covered this key development.
This was an interview with K-pop sensation ATEEZ. It was intense and a little crazy but it was an insanely special opportunity and I'm really grateful I got to do this!

A review of another long-awaited release that had huge interest amongst our readers – written on the day of release.

This was a breaking news kind of story that hit us in the evening that put the entire team into action. It was a little nerve-racking but still really cool to experience the rush in Lifestyle.

CNA Lifestyle was also the first (or among them) to report this news. As a significant figure in South Korea, this was a big break.

This piece needed very careful angling to ensure accuracy and sensitivity. Also learned about attribution of translations from Korean news outlets.

CNA Lifestyle was the first to report this, mostly because I'm a massive fan and wrote this as soon as the announcement hit. This was the first piece I was genuinely confident writing during my whole internship.

My first-ever pitch and album review for CNA Lifestyle in my second week! It was challenging to write using the CNA voice, which is vastly different from my own writing style. But it was a cool opportunity and fun write!
